The design process runs in three stages.
The information required for the structural design is submitted to our office: existing drawings of the building, roof or site dimensions, ground and location data, and the specifications of the panels and mounting structure. Any missing data is completed together at this stage.
Where regulations require the structural design to be submitted for university approval, we manage the application. The file is prepared, submitted to the relevant university and followed up until the process is concluded.
Once the calculations and analyses are complete, the structural design is issued together with detail drawings and reports. The approved project file is delivered in full, and technical support continues through installation.

Yakup Şanlı is a civil engineer and the founder of Şanlı Solar. Over the course of his career he has worked on more than two thousand projects, centred on the structural design, supporting-system analysis and site implementation of rooftop and ground-mounted solar power plants.
He has worked at every scale, from residential roofs and industrial facilities to carport structures and megawatt-scale ground-mounted plants. In each project he treats buildability as the measure of a calculation, following engineering decisions through to fabrication and installation details.
